From the moment a student walks through doors at Beechwood College our primary goal is to start to equip them with the skills required to live a more independent life.
Within the College we have a range of accommodation options that aims to address the individual needs of each student. These are in the form of individual bedrooms with shared communal facilities, to self-contained flats where students are encouraged to further develop and utilise their independent living skills.

The College also continues to develop off-site satellite units that provide stepping stones towards greater independent and community living. These units offer intensive support for students with a range of complex needs with a team of experienced and highly motivated professionals.
These facilities are registered with Care Standards in Wales and aim to offer a coherent waking hours approach to address the targets from each student’s individual learning plan.
"Beechwood College offers a unique experience for students. It allows them continual development based either on the campus at Beechwood or off-site at one of our community homes, thus helping them achieve as effective a transition to adulthood as possible by preparing them for their future living environments."
